Today we took the boys to the local "beach". I am so ashamed to say that we didn't take them once last year. The Summer of 2008 flew by fast, and we didn't enjoy it as much as we should have. This summer I am determined to take advantage of those "Lazy Days of Summer".
It was a perfect day to go (today was 90!), so after our beloved Sunday afternoon nap, we headed down to the river. Thankfully Jason brought his iPhone, as I forgot my camera (doh!). The boys LOVED it, even though the water was so cold that it made your feet hurt and feel numb!

It's so important to do little things like this with our kids when they are young...they grow too fast.
