The First Trimester Blues

This pregnancy has thus-far proven to be about the same as my other two- blah, icky, nauseousness that gets worse as the day goes on. But nothing to complain about. No throwing up, per say. Just the all around gross feeling, and most foods sound disgusting. Which proves to be a challenge while planning/making dinner.

Typically when I am not pregnant, I meal plan for two weeks and then go on my big shopping run. Usually includes some type of Thai food (my favorite). Not these days. Apparently this baby is not fond of Thai food. I can't even believe it. So lately, I haven't been able to menu plan because what sounds good now, probably won't sound good tomorrow. In fact, it will make my stomach churn. This is very difficult for me, since one of my loves is cooking. I LOVE cooking.
So I'm trying my hand at menu planning this week. I only put 5 things on it:

~Macaroni & Cheese

~Herb Chicken Vegetable soup with Noodle Dumplings

~Norwegian Meatballs with Mashed Potatoes

~Sun Dried Tomato and Chicken Pappardelle (Also going to try my hand at home made noodles)

~Pepperoni and Sausage Calzones

We'll see how it goes. I wonder how many things will get the axe before the week is up. I sure how things don't go to waste.
